Medication change
Posted by CalgirlinOregon Bookmark and Share
I saw the Dr over 2 weeks ago and he wanted to try me on a couple of new Meds that recently came out for Fibromyalgia. He took me off the Celexa and started me on Sevella ? I don't have the bottle here in front of me, but he also wants to see if Nucynta will work so I do not have to take Percocet anymore. So far no luck with it so maybe need to change dosage.

I see you mentioned Percocet, a good pain reliever but it has complications we want to avoid if we can, like dependence. I've worked my way through the anti-depressents and non-steroidal meds for pain, and after awhile they just caused more problems.I hope you can get away from the Percocet.

I was reading some where about this medication, Nucynta, and I think it said something about coming in different dosages. So I will be talking to the Dr. about it. I would like to get a least back to a little bit normal. My 2 younger children attend a school that has lots of stairs.

Did the doctor say how long you should wait to see the effects? 2 weeks is a pretty long time, so maybe it isn't effective enough. Definitely get it checked out and good luck.
